The planes
The Mind plane
The Mind plane is the register of thinking. Its numbers work through imagination, reason, and meaning: turning the inner world into ideas, words, and care that reaches past the immediate. Someone weighted here processes life by making sense of it.
The numbers
3 · 6 · 9
This is the register of thinking.
How the plane matures
Read the row as a progression. Each number carries the plane a step further.
- 3Expression
The row opens with the 3, the gateway to the conscious mind. Expression here is thought becoming visible, ideas taking a sayable shape.
- 6Responsibility
The 6 sits at the centre of the row, where analysis and imagination meet. Responsibility here is thinking in service of what is close: home, the people nearby, the creative work in front of you.
- 9Compassion
The 9 closes the row by widening the view. Compassion on this plane is mind in action at scale, ambition and idealism turned toward more than one life.
The full row: Intellect
A chart with 3, 6, and 9 all filled carries the arrow Phillips labels Intellect. This tends to show up as sharp mental capacity: memory, reasoning, and the ability to hold ideas and connect them across the whole row.
The empty row: Poor memory
An empty top row is read as the arrow Phillips labels Poor memory. It names a need to consciously develop memory, analysis, and sustained thought, not an inability to think. The label is his, and it is blunter than the reality it points at.
Leaning hard on this plane
Leaning hard on the Mind plane tends to look like a life lived a half-step above events, always interpreting. The risk is that theory outruns follow-through, meaning made faster than anything gets done.
